Easter at the Beach

Well, Easter has come and gone another year here at Holden Beach and we have all survived, maybe even thrived once again. We had great crowds here at the beach, especially considering how early the holiday was this year. Of course a crowd at Holden Beach looks like the slowest day of the year at Myrtle Beach, but we like it that way. Our little family beach packed 'em in this year once again. The Chapel on the island had 3 church services with over 700 attending. Pretty amazing for a town of just 900 permanent residence. The restaurant was entertained by throngs of little ones in their Easter outfits, fingertips tinged blue and pink from dying Easter eggs.
The night time crowds did Patsy Cline and Jimmy Buffet proud with their Karaoke renditions of the favorites. There were a lot of positive comments on the menu change and the 25 cent wings on Wed night were a hit.

We look forward to a couple more "crowded" weeks with Spring breaks hitting in the month of April. Holden Beach is ready for you. Come on over the bridge, take a left and start your vacation at Pardise. We're always glad to see you!

Took my 80 year old Dad to Karaoke last week. What a blast. I had no idea the old geezer had such a set of pipes. The grilled tuna sandwich was killer good. I had it without the bread. They didn't have the sauce I ordered so they brought me 3 different ones to sample. I could have drunk the Peach Mango Sauce. Nice place. Nice Folks. We'll be back.
